Artisan Contractor Program

This program offers coverage for Buildings, Business Personal Property, Loss of Earnings and Liability.  It is designed to cover residential Artisan Contractors with up to five employees.  There are forty-one (41) eligible classes including but not limited to:

  • Cleaning Services
  • Concrete Construction
  • Electric Work
  • Excavation – Earth
  • Floor Covering
  • Landscape / Gardening
  • Masons
  • Painters / Paperhangers
  • Plumbing
  • Septic Tank and Laterals Installers
  • Siding Installers
  • Trench Diggers
  • Waterproofing Contractors

The program includes XCU (Explosion, Collapse & Underground) and Contractual Liability.  Additional Insured coverage options are available to extend liability protection to other eligible persons or entities.  There are a number of other coverage options including our APACE endorsement (Artisans Property Additional Coverage Endorsement) which offers three options depending on your needs.  For an additional premium, the APACE 1 endorsement which is the broadest of our APACE options, includes the following:

  • Glass – Replacement Cost
  • Accounts Receivable - $10,000
  • Computers - $10,000
  • Contractors Equipment - $10,000
  • Rental Reimbursement - $2,500
  • Installation Floater - $10,000
  • Outdoor Signs - $10,000
  • Valuable Papers - $10,000
